An Afternoon With NIOSH in Arizona — November 2, 2012

By on Oct 24, 2012 in Updates |

Christine M. Branche, Ph.D., FACE, principal associate director at NIOSH and director of its Office of Construction Safety and Health will be in Arizona on Friday, November 2, 2012 at the Arizona Country Club to discuss the campaign to stop falls in construction, hosted by the Arizona Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers (AZ ASSE).

As an organization the Arizona Chapter of the ASSE has long promoted the importance of worker safety and fall protection. As a supporter of the campaign to stop construction falls the AZ ASSE has already provided links on their web site and sent letters to the National ASSE and OSHA in support of improving worker safety.

Dr. Branche will be in attendance at the November technical meeting and luncheon to discuss the difference between NIOSH and OSHA and most importantly to discuss the campaign to stop falls in construction and how others can join the effort.

To learn more about the event and/or register for the lunch portion of the event visit the Arizona Chapter of the ASSE luncheon web site. (NOTE: All luncheon attendees must RSVP to ensure space is available.)
